The advantage of this type of plastering is certainly <strong>ease of application<\/strong>. Gypsum plaster is <strong>flexible and really easy to spread<\/strong>. After drying <strong>produces a smooth and even surface<\/strong>. Thanks to its properties, gypsum plaster can be used on various types of substrate, such as concrete, hollow blocks or bricks. This type of plaster <strong>is shatterproof<\/strong> and provides a solid barrier against damage. Among the disadvantages of gypsum plaster it is worth mentioning the low resistance to moisture. Consequently, it is not recommended to use them in rooms with high levels of moisture, such as bathrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cement-lime plastering<\/strong> consists of applying a mixture of cement and lime to the surface. This type of plaster is characterised by <strong>greater durability and resistance to moisture<\/strong> than gypsum plaster. It is also <strong>more durable<\/strong>, making it suitable for use also on the exterior surfaces of buildings. However, cement-lime plasters are <strong>less flexible<\/strong> than those of gypsum. This can cause cracks to form more easily as a result of structural movements of the buildings. The application of cement-lime plaster is also quite time-consuming and requires more precision and accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You already know the types of plaster, so it's time to start choosing the right one. It will certainly depend on your needs and the effect you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gypsum plaster and PVC corners<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you opt for gypsum plaster, it is worth bearing in mind the <strong>the use of appropriate plastering corners<\/strong>. They play an important role in securing and aesthetically finishing the outer edges of walls. Traditionally used corners, i.e. <a href=\"https:\/\/profigips.com\/en\/product\/naroznik-stalowy-z-siatka\/\"><strong>steel<\/strong><\/a> are increasingly being replaced by <a href=\"https:\/\/profigips.com\/en\/product\/naroznik-pcv-z-noskiem-standard\/\">PVC corners<\/a>. It's a good combination with fast gypsum plastering, especially if you care about the time and efficiency of the process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PVC corners are resistant to mechanical damage<\/strong> - in duet with scratch-resistant gypsum plaster, this will provide effective and long-lasting protection for the wall edges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>When choosing gypsum plaster, it is worth using PVC corners instead of steel corners. The combination of the advantages of both products and their properties gives us an ideal duo - moisture-resistant, easy to install, flexible and resistant to mechanical damage.
